MY BABY
It was during camp,
When you and I first met.
Never knew our paths would cross,
And me falling in love just like that.
I love everything about you,
Your eyes, your laugh, your smile.
Were you the one to be,
The one who made it all worthwhile?
I was confused back then,
When I loved someone.
But then you came along,
And a new love begun.
We have so much in common,
So much that it turned scary.
But it was really fun,
On the contrary.
Who'd known,
I'd be so crazy over you.
Wells as you can see now,
It's nothing less than true.
You're sometimes in my daydreams,
And I wish they would come true.
And I wish that somehow,
I would be in your daydreams too.
You wrote poems for me,
Wrote me many notes of choice.
But the only thing I’m missing,
Is the sound of your melodious voice!
I don't know what came over me,
To write this poem to you.
But I miss you so much,
And hate it when its adieu.
So tell me you love me,
Cos I sure love you,
Bold as the word may be,
My love for you just grew.
I miss your hugs, your kisses,
And not to mention you.
I really wish I could see you,
I really wish, I do.
Sometimes I get jealous,
When other guys love you too.
But I trust you enough,
To love me only, that’s all I ask of you.
I’m not a good poet,
At words I’m not that good.
All I have to say is,
For you, anything, I would.
Your smile lifts me up,
Your laughter brightens my day.
How wish this would never end,
And would always stay this way,
I played the piano for you,
Even came up with songs.
Just to tell you how I felt,
Where this poor heart belongs.
If I were to write more,
I fear it may never end.
So this is for you, my baby,
My darling, my best friend.
